The voice of Virginia's
agricultural producers
The Virginia Farm Bureau Federation is an organization of farmers and rural families with more than 148,000 members. It is part of the American Farm Bureau Federation which boasts more than 5.5 million members in the United States and Puerto Rico.
There are 88 county Farm Bureaus located throughout Virginia. County Farm Bureaus across the nation collectively form their respective state Farm Bureaus, and the state Farm Bureaus comprise the American Farm Bureau.
The organization works to support its members through legislative lobbying, leadership programs, commodity associations, rural health programs, products, insurance, marketing and other services.
Farm Bureau is not a state agency. It is non-governmental, non-partisan and voluntary. It is wholly controlled by its membership dues.
It is truly the voice of the people who feed and clothe the world.
