J.U.S.T.U.S is a bluegrass gospel group that formed in 2001. Their name is an acronym for Jesus Using Saved Tellers United Spiritually. They released their first CD, “I Will Be Your God,” in 2007.
Dr. Robert D. Holsworth is one of the leading political analysts in Virginia. His comments on Virginia and national politics have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Washington Post and in other newspapers throughout the nation. He has appeared on almost all the major American television networks and on the BBC. Holsworth has written four books and numerous articles on American politics and culture. He teaches political science in the Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Dr. Ron Hanson is the Neal Harlan Professor of Agribusiness in the Department of Agricultural Economics at the University of Nebraska. His teaching career has earned him numerous university and national recognitions. He grew up on his family’s farm in Henry County, Il., and has worked with Nebraska farm families for more than 30 years to help them resolve family conflicts in a positive manner and improve family relations through better communications.
Dr. John Ikerd is professor emeritus of agricultural economics at the University of Missouri. He worked in private industry and then spent 30 years in various professorial positions at North Carolina State University, Oklahoma State University, the University of Georgia and the University of Missouri before retiring in early 2000. Ikerd has written several books on sustainability, economics and agriculture.
Matt Scramlin is director of leadership development for the American Farm Bureau Federation, for which he coordinates national programs such as the County Activities of Excellence. He also assists state Farm Bureaus in the Northeast with leadership development and long-term goals. Before joining AFBF, Scramlin worked for the Michigan Farm Bureau.
Bryan Townsend is a member of the National Speakers Association and has been inducted into that organization’s Hall of Fame. In addition to speaking, Townsend has written advertising copy, numerous articles and several books. His background includes a 20-year career in broadcasting, serving as a play-by-play sports announcer, talk show host and radio station manager.
David M. Chilton is director of analytical services and senior sales analyst for Universal Leaf Tobacco Co. Inc. and chairman of the Virginia Foundation for Agriculture in the Classroom board. He is a past chairman of the Virginia Agribusiness Council board and a 2005 recipient of the council’s Distinguished Service Award. He also serves on the Virginia 4-H Foundation board, the Governor’s School for Agriculture advisory committee and the Southern Piedmont Agricultural Research and Extension Center leadership council.
Apollo Robbins is a thief with a conscience. He has toured internationally and has been featured on the Travel Channel, Animal Planet and A&E and currently stars in a Tru-TV Special, “The Real Hustle.” He has a new show, “Grift Sense,” a combination of pick-pocketing, con artistry and fraudulent mind-reading.
