Members invited to participate in candidate forum

Virginia Farm Bureau producer members are invited to participate in a forum for the Democratic and Republican candidates in this year’s gubernatorial race.

The forum will be held from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. July 31 in the auditorium of Farm Bureau’s state office in eastern Goochland County. Each candidate will have an opportunity to make opening remarks; field moderated questions related to agriculture, forestry and agribusiness from the audience; and then make closing remarks.

Virginia Farm Bureau Federation is co-sponsoring the forum with the State Fair of Virginia, the Virginia Agribusiness Council, the Virginia Forest Products Association and the Virginia Forestry Association.
