Scott E. Sink
President
Scott Sink was elected to a two-year term as president of the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation in December 2024 and previously served as the organization’s vice president from 2012 through 2024. He is a past chair of the VFBF Young Farmers Committee and past president of the Franklin County Farm Bureau.
In addition to serving as President of VFBF, Sink also is president of the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation AgPAC Board of Trustees, the Virginia Foundation for Agriculture, Innovation and Rural Sustainability, and all other affiliated companies’ boards of directors.
He currently serves as a member of the American Farm Bureau Federation®, American Ag®, American Farm Bureau Insurance Services Inc. and Southern Farm Bureau® Life Insurance Co. board of directors. Sink also is a past vice chair of the AFBF Young Farmers & Ranchers Committee. He and his wife, Mendy, were the 2010 recipients of the AFBF Excellence in Agriculture Award.
Scott and his family operate SES Agricultural Enterprises, which produces beef cattle and hay, and provides agricultural services and agritourism opportunities. They also own Hethwood Market in Blacksburg, where they sell locally grown produce and offer catering services. Sink holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in agricultural economics from Virginia Tech.
The Sinks have two daughters, Mekinsley and Mehailyn.
