Women’s Leadership Conference: The Women’s Leadership Conference will be held at The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center, April 26-28, 2024. For more information and to register for the event, please visit the conference registration website.

Women’s Leadership Academy: The Women’s Leadership Academy is a single-day training designed to enhance communication skills, improve the functionality of women's committees, and cultivate legislative advocacy efforts. The Academy will take place April 26, 2024. To attend, interested individuals must submit an application.

Recognitions, Contests & Awards

Ambassador

Virginia Farm Bureau Ambassador

Recognizes young adults for their achievements in agriculture and provides them with an opportunity to serve as an ambassador for agriculture and Farm Bureau. Eligible applicants between the ages of 18 and 24 can apply. The deadline to apply is Dec. 31. The winner will be awarded at the 2024 Women’s Leadership Conference.

Distinguished Farm Bureau Woman

Recognizes a Farm Bureau woman member for her contributions to a farm business, or agricultural enterprise or her agricultural leadership. The deadline to apply is Dec. 31. The winner will be announced at the 2024 Women’s Leadership Conference.

Outstanding County Program

Recognizes outstanding Women’s Leadership Committees for their efforts in promoting agriculture and their involvement in Farm Bureau throughout the year. The deadline for activity submissions is Jan. 15, 2024.

Hay Bale Decorating Contest

Consider decorating round and square hay bales for a fun way to spotlight agriculture in your community this fall. The contest runs from Sept. 1 through Nov. 15.
