By entering or participating in the GIVEAWAY (the "Giveaway") you agree to all of the following rules:
How to Enter. No purchase is necessary to enter the Giveaway. Anyone may enter the Giveaway by visiting the Farm Bureau office where the Agent is hosting the Giveaway and filling out a 3” X 5” postcard and listing the Giveaway, your name, home address, telephone number, e-mail address and age. Any error or omission in the information on the card will void the entry. Limit one entry per individual. By participating, all entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules. An email address is required to enter on-line. By entering the Giveaway you agree that the Farm Bureau Agent hosting the Giveaway may contact you regarding products and services.
Eligibility. The Giveaway is open to legal residents of the Commonwealth of Virginia, aged 18 or older. Proof of age may be required. Employees of Farm Bureau, ("Farm Bureau") and its affiliates, and members of such employees' immediate families (their parents, spouses, siblings (natural born or adopted), children (natural born or adopted)) or households are ineligible to participate in the Giveaway.
Prize Deadlines. All entries for the Giveaway must be received by the date listed in the Facebook post where the Giveaway is described.
Winner Selection and Notification. A winner will be selected from a random drawing. The odds of winning are dependent upon the number of eligible entries received. All drawings will be conducted at the Farm Bureau office where the Giveaway is being hosted. The decisions of the Farm Bureau Agent are final and binding in all matters relating to this Giveaway. Entries will not be returned. Winner will be notified by phone, e-mail, through the social media account used to enter the Giveaway or United States mail. If a winner cannot be reached within five (5) business days after making a reasonable effort, or if an entrant is found to be ineligible, an alternate winner may be drawn.
General Conditions. This Giveaway is void where and to the extent prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable laws, including, without limitation, federal, state, and local laws and regulations. In the event of non-compliance by any winner with the official rules of this Giveaway, an alternate winner may be selected. Prizes are non-transferable. Return of any prize or prize notification as undeliverable will result in a disqualification of the winner and an alternate winner may be selected. Except where legally prohibited, acceptance of any prize constitutes permission for Farm Bureau to use each winner’s name, photograph, likeness, voice, address (city and state) and testimonials, in printed, broadcast or other media, whether now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity, in any manner it deems appropriate in connection with promoting this or any other Giveaway and/or promotion sponsored by it, without further compensation to the winner.
Releases. By participating, entrants agree that Farm Bureau, those involved in the development, production (including prize suppliers), implementation and distribution of this Giveaway and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, service providers, and agencies, and their directors, officers, agents, employees, attorneys, and any other person or entity associated with such entities and/or promotion (hereinafter collectively called "Released Parties"), shall not be liable for any claims, damages, losses or injuries, including any third party claims, arising from or relating to, in whole or in part, this Giveaway, including entry and participation in this Giveaway and acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prizes. All entrants further agree that in the event of any third party claims, damages, losses or injuries, arising from or relating to such entrant’s participation in this Giveaway, such entrant will indemnify and hold the Released Parties harmless from and against any and all such claims, including reasonable attorneys’ fees related thereto. The Released Parties shall not be liable for entries that are delayed, lost, misdirected, misdelivered, incorrect or incomplete, and such entries will be not be eligible for this Giveaway. The Released Parties shall not be responsible for any technical malfunctions of any telephone network, computer on-line system, computer equipment or software; program malfunctions or other failures; delayed computer transactions or network connections; any errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic; or any combination thereof, including, without limitation, any injury or damage to the computer of any entrant or any other person related to or resulting from downloading items during any part of this Giveaway. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with this Giveaway will be ineligible for prizes and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Farm Bureau reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this Giveaway should viruses, bugs or other causes beyond its control corrupt the proper administration or security of the Giveaway. Farm Bureau reserves the right to modify the rules of the Giveaway in any way or at any time, as long as reasonable notice is given. All taxes on any prize won are the sole responsibility of each winner, including, without limitation, any federal, state, or local taxes which may be deemed applicable in such winner’s jurisdiction of residence. This Giveaway shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. By participating in this contest, entrants agree that the state and federal courts located in the Commonwealth of Virginia shall have jurisdiction over any dispute or litigation arising from or relating to this Giveaway and that venue for such litigation shall be only in the Circuit Court for the City of Richmond, Virginia or the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, Richmond Division.

Rules/Winners List. The winner’s name will be posted on the Agent’s Farm Bureau Facebook page promptly after the drawing. IRS Form W-9. All winners are responsible for applicable taxes. Depending on the amount of the prize a winner may be required to complete and sign an IRS Form W-9 Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification, prior to any prize being awarded.
