About Experient Health

Custom Health Care Inc., a subsidiary of Virginia Farm Bureau, began to market itself and operate as Experient Health on Jan. 1, 2013.

Experient Health represents a brand under which both the individual and group health divisions could be marketed effectively; support the company’s strategy to market to and service customers through the fast-growing online sales channel; and position the company to better market itself as new national and state healthcare exchange programs went into effect.

We provide high-quality, customized health insurance options and benefits solutions to individuals and employers in Virginia, Maryland and D.C. The organization represents the nation’s top insurance carriers and has been serving customers for more than 10 years. In Virginia, Experient Health is one of Anthem’s top individual health insurance partners.

Experient Health is dedicated to group health insurance and employee benefits programs. While we provide the benefits of a local agency, behind our doors is a large insurance company with strong resources in customer service, technical solutions, strategic planning and customized plans.

Through Virginia Farm Bureau, Experient Health is comprised of professionals who have in-depth knowledge about a variety of plans including:

  • Group and Individual Health
  • Dental and Vision
  • COBRA Administration
  • Medicare and Long-Term Care
  • Life and Disability
  • Pre-Tax and Tax-Deferred Accounts (HSA, FSA, and HRA)
  • IRAs and Simplified Employee Pension Plans
  • Workman's Compensation
  • Business Owners Liability Policies
